Anna Kull (she, her) enjoys helping people of all ages move towards healing and their life goals. Her style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. She takes a compassionate and strengths-based approach to therapy supporting her clients in creating positive change. Anna has helped clients navigate many challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult emotions, life transitions, hard to change behaviors such as substance use, career concerns, parenting concerns, and identity challenges. ​
Anna integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and other evidence-based practices into her work. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to private practice Anna worked in the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Her years of experience in advocacy and community relationships, along with her belief in every person’s right to be whole and heard, led her to a career in mental health. With a background in social justice advocacy, Anna incorporates an awareness of oppression into her work and strives to be LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist, take a health at every size approach (HAES), and provide culturally relevant services. Anna recognizes that seeking support takes strength and she endeavors to create a welcoming and safe environment.
